About the project
A real person built this to make a stressful job a little simpler.
I’m Chris, the person behind Your Pet’s Health Log. I build practical tools that remove friction from everyday life, and I’ve had pets of my own. This project came from a simple idea: when an animal you love needs care, keeping useful notes should not become another complicated task.
Why I built it
Vet visits can involve a lot of details: appetite changes, medicine times, breathing, mobility, weight, bathroom habits, questions you meant to ask, and the little changes that are easy to forget later. Your Pet’s Health Log is designed to keep those observations organized so you can spend less time reconstructing the week from memory and more time talking with the veterinary team.
What this site is—and is not
I am not presenting myself as a veterinarian, and the site does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medicines, recommend doses, or set treatment targets. The trackers are record-keeping tools. Medical decisions belong with a veterinarian who knows your pet and their circumstances.
Why the privacy approach is simple
The public tools are built to work without an account or email wall. Worksheet entries and Quick Phone Log history stay on the device unless you choose to share or print them. Optional support helps keep the project available without adding advertising trackers or a health-data analytics business model.
The standard I am aiming for
Simple enough to use during a busy day. Clear enough to bring to a veterinary visit. Accessible on phones and keyboards. Useful on paper. Honest about what the tool can and cannot do.
